Invitations & RSVP Cards

Since we are having a themed wedding we needed to make a themed invitation. I have to give credit to my fiance for this idea. I came up with the wording and everything but he came up with the banner idea. It took us about 2 or 3 days to complete the project. We only had a few mistakes/paper jams. We also had an ink cartridge that was dried up which was really frustrating. We ended up sending out 130 invitations. We also made the RSVP cards using Photoshop for the emblem and Mac Pages to create the postcards.

The Centerpieces

Our centerpieces will be mason jars with white and blue ribbons. We are growing our own sunflowers to put in the mason jars. The picture is of a smaller mason jar. My sister-in-law has a bunch of the bigger wide-mouth ones that we will most likely be using! They will probably look better because they are bigger and will fill the table more.

Flower Girl Basket

Picture
I bought this basket at Kmart during Easter for $3.99. I painted it with a shiny white paint and removed the liner that was in it. I am going to add eggplant ribbon to match the girl's dresses.

Beer Mug Favors

Picture
We bought the beer mugs at The Dollar Tree for $1 each. We made the decal design using photoshop and Mac pages. We printed the decals onto white decal paper found at Ocean State Job lot for $3.00. This is just a mock up. Attached to the beer mug is our thank you cards. They were made using Mac pages using a business card template then cut and hole punched. I will be using blue and white raffia to attach them to the mugs.

Cupcake Table Decoration

Picture
I bought wooden craft letters, painted them, glossed them, and drilled a hole in each one then laced ribbon through each letter.

Thank You Banner

Picture
I made the thank you banner out of left over cardstock that we used for our invitations. We will have our photographer take a picture of us holding it and hopefully use it as our thank you cards.

Table Names

Picture
I made our table names using left over card stock from the invitations. I made them to look like pennants. This will go in the mason jars with flowers as our centerpieces. The table names are Oktoberfest related.

Guestbook

We ordered our photo guestbook from Shutterfly. I like the way it came out. We will have our guests sign the book with sharpie pens/markers.
